Why Diane Did It?
When I was 5 or 6, I started my artistic career by writing "Diane Did It"all over the outside of our house in crayon. Hence the name of this blog and my website.
After that, my artistic talent hibernated for 40 years or so until I discovered scrapbooking and card-making. That addiction took all my spare time for a couple of years, and then I discovered fabric and fiber! And then digital scrapbooking. And now digital art! There aren't enough hours in the day!

I just had this very same idea this week! I have some old linens I bought on eBay that have cute kittens. I was going to use them for the animal theme. Did this piece sell well? It's very cute!
ReplyDeleteIt sold for $65.00 in Houston. I think it's a great idea to use old linens - I added some color with Caran d'Ache crayons, some beads and some quilting and wha-la!
