Remember
I have joined the Paper Whimsy group on the web and they issue a couple of quote challenges per month, using a particular poem. There are also specific requirements; we all start with the same collage sheet and must use things like a piece of ribbon or trim, a butterfly, a flower. This is my interpretation of this quote challenge.
The tulips on the quote page are digital, but on the 2nd page, the girl on the swing is a cut out from a stamped image, chalked for color and sprayed with Radiant Rain pewter. The butterfly is a bead. The flowers are ripped from a paper napkin. I enjoy stepping out from the flat world of digital art now and then.

Seagull
This challenge is from Artarazzi. I extracted the gull, used a photo mask on the sky and changed the coloration a tad then used the screen blending mode. Background is by Christina Brown Designs. I added the chicken wire and the palm trees (from stock.xchng). The background paper really makes this work, I think.

Sunday Postcard Art
The theme this week at Sunday Postcard Art is Swan Lake. This is my digital interpretation of Odette, a ballerina princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer's curse.
